We built Journey to the West: Illustrated (“the App”) to be a calm, fully offline reading experience. Privacy isn’t an afterthought here — the App is designed so that there is simply nothing to collect.
1. Information we collect. None. The App has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics or tracking SDKs, no advertising, and no third-party services. We do not collect, receive, or have access to any personal information about you.
2. Information stored only on your device. Your reading progress, bookmarks, highlights, saved passages, and reading preferences are stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud device backup enabled, this data may be included in your own private, end-to-end-managed Apple backup. It is never transmitted to us and we cannot access it.
3. How the App works. All content — text, illustrations, and the data behind the maps and codex — is bundled inside the App and read offline. Read-aloud uses Apple’s on-device speech engine. The App makes no network requests to our servers, because we operate none.
4. Third parties. We do not share, sell, rent, or transmit any personal data, because we hold none. Payment and any refunds are handled entirely by Apple under your App Store account; we never see your payment details.
5. Children’s privacy. The App is rated 9+ and is suitable for general audiences. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
6. Your rights. Regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a company holds about you. Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, export, or erase. You can remove all locally stored data at any time by deleting the App.
7. Security. Since data never leaves your device, the security of your reading data follows the protections of your own device and Apple account.
8. Changes. If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.

《西游绘卷》（“本应用”）是一款完全离线的沉浸式阅读应用。隐私并非事后补充——本应用从设计上就让“收集”无从谈起。
1. 我们收集的信息。无。本应用没有账户、无需登录，不含任何分析或追踪 SDK，没有广告，也不接入任何第三方服务。我们不收集、不接收、也无法访问您的任何个人信息。
2. 仅存储在您设备上的信息。您的阅读进度、书签、划线、收藏段落与阅读偏好均保存在本机。若您开启了 iCloud 设备备份，这些数据可能包含在您自己的私有 Apple 备份中。它们从不会传输给我们，我们也无法访问。
3. 应用如何运作。所有内容（文字、插画、地图与图鉴数据）均随应用打包、离线阅读。朗读功能使用 Apple 设备本地语音引擎。本应用不会向我们的服务器发起任何网络请求——因为我们没有服务器。
4. 第三方。我们不分享、不出售、不出租、不传输任何个人数据，因为我们根本不持有。付款与退款完全由 Apple 通过您的 App Store 账户处理，我们绝不会看到您的支付信息。
5. 儿童隐私。本应用分级为 9+，适合大众。它不会有意收集包括儿童在内的任何人的信息。
6. 您的权利。GDPR、CCPA 等法规赋予您访问、更正、删除企业所持个人数据的权利。由于我们不持有任何个人数据，也就无需为您访问、导出或删除。您可随时通过删除应用来清除全部本地数据。
7. 安全。由于数据从不离开您的设备，您阅读数据的安全性取决于您自己的设备与 Apple 账户的保护。
8. 变更。若本政策有任何变动，我们将更新本页并修改上方的生效日期。
